JALEN ROSE! JALEN ROSE!

Idiot! Idiot!

In Honor of National Cleavage Day!!

Go ahead, google it! Today is National Cleavage Day!

All of a sudden I think I may go to the Tilted Kilt for dinner tonight.

By the way, I can write the next great American Novel on the blog and no one will read the post. A post like this will get a bevy of hits!

World Series MVP Jermaine Dye Officially Retires!

All the best to a class-act!

2005 World Series MVP (All-Star and Silver Slugger in '06; 5th in MVP voting in '06! ), Jermaine Dye was always a class act at the Southside. Despite the fact that his White Sox career was only five seasons, it is fitting that the last team he played for was the White Sox. Paulie and JD hit their 300th homeruns in back-to-back at bats!! Wore #23, a number that should only be reserved for special players in Chicago. Here's hoping that he joins the White Sox organization, either as a coach or in the front office!

Time to add a Jermaine Dye Day (bobblehead!?!) to the schedule!

JD, thanks for bringing a World Series Championship to Chicago!!!

A VCU Final Four Shirt

Jay Bilas has already tweeted that he loves it!!

The Baseball Season has Officially STARTED!

No word yet on how hungover Miguel Caberra is!

Update: Looks Like Bruce Weber is Staying at Illinois

Illini nation- good news or bad news?

Time for some Halle Berry love, before we turn to baseball!!

Oklahoma interested in Bruce Weber?! C'mon!!!

You got to be kidding me? You fire Jeff Capel for Weber! Half of Illini Nation would personally drive him to Norman, Oklahoma. Weber, if OU would seriously offer you the job- take it! If you stay at U of I next year, you will be on the hot seat, so why take your chances.

Butler Returns to the Final Four!!

Back to Back! Wow!!
Just read a tweet from Jason Whitlock:

"Gordon Hayward made a mistake. Could've been a legend."
Very interesting. I remember reading a story last year when Hayward declared for the draft (I think the story was in SI) where Hayward's dad basically stated that Hayward's decision to go pro was an easy one. "What's he going to do if he comes back; this time he hits the (final) shot!?" Ah, maybe!

March Madness!!

This Weekend I'm Rooting for Kentucky and Arizona

I know Kentucky fans would never root for DUKE, but that's okay- when you play Carolina, you got DUKE fans on your side. Hoping Arizona can keep playing in the same way they dominated the Blue Devils! Oh way, Arizona co-eds - niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

VCU! VCU!

If the Rams somehow defeat Kansas and make the Final Four, this will top George Mason's run to the Final Four in 2006. George Mason didn't have to play in a "play-in game." Incredible run for VCU.

Things Not Looking Good For Tressel & OSU Football!

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time! Or, at the very least if you do the crime, don't cover up and then lie about it (see, Bruce Pearl)
